The result is a handmade Comfortable, Elegant, Rich and Sensual Set composed of 3 Pieces: a Caftan (Kaftan or Jalabiya), a Cloak or Overcoat and a Noura Mossallem 'Sundus' Shoulder Bag.

All products are Handmade with Soft and Shiny hand woven 100% 'Moire' Egyptian Fabric. You can select the Moire Fabric colour you want from the Drop Down List above. Please bear in mind that the true colour of the set may slightly vary from the colour in its picture due to the fact that the fabric naturally emits different shades of the colour depending on how it moves and the amount of light that shines on it. Rest assure that the Kaftan and Cloak will have the same exact colour. The colour of the handbag may slightly alter from the colour of the kaftan and cloak.

You can wear each piece individually or all together. Ideal to wear to elegant dinners, parties, weddings or pamper yourself and wear it at home as a pyjama or robe. Also ideal for belly dancers as pre-show wear (cover) or as abaya for Muslim women clothing.

About the Moire Fabric:

Moire Soft and Shiny Egyptian Fabric. The main material is Egyptian Moire Fabric; a mix of pure Egyptian Cotton and Satin. The soft fabric is hand woven in Egypt using a traditional weaving method and a basic old fashioned wooden weaving board. The Moire Fabric has a very unique shiny 'wood like' texture. This texture is created through a particular hand print process. The hand print process results in a unique and natural 'wood bark like' wavy pattern embedded into the material. Each colour is unique and each colour has its own wavy pattern; just as each human has his own unique finger prints. Please understand they are hand woven so it is literally impossible for the colours to look exactly like the colour you see in the picture. But do not make this an issue, for each hand woven piece of Moire fabric has a soul of its own and will surely look gorgeous.

Detailed Description of the Kaftan and Cloak/Overcoat:

Both the Kaftan and the Cloak come with handmade cotton Embroidery on the Front and on the Back...Stand out of the crowd even when you walk away! The bottom half of both sleeves also have embroidery. The colour of the embroidery will always match with the colour of the Kaftan. The bottom of the caftan and the cloak have side openings as well.

The Cloak has embroidery and round buttons that run from the hood to the bottom of the dress. The front part of the dress can be left open or be buttoned up at any point (at the top or at the bottom). The cloak also has hand woven strings you can use as an alternative closure method. On the back part of the dress you can leave the bottom opening open or button it up. Watch the bottom of the coat glide as you walk away!

The Kaftan has very detailed handmade embroidery on the top front part. Adorable and more subtle embroidery runs on the rest of the kaftan up to the bottom (view pictures). The front collar opening of the Kaftan can be extended (sliced open) so as to make the front open cut longer and wider over the chest area (allowing more of your chest to appear).

About the Noura Mossalem 'Sundus' Shoulder Bag: Designer Noura Mossallem 'Sundus' Shoulder Bag. The handbag is made with Moire fabric as well; but the top of the bag is made with hand woven Egyptian 'Shahi' fabric! Cute ornaments are attached to the string that closes the bag. The ornaments (as for example the hearts you can see in the picture) vary. The following are pictures of what the handbag looks like in a Black Moire colour.
