The set is soft and malleable; this makes the set ideal to pack up and travel with. You can flatten or fold them up and they will take very little space in your travelling bag. Once you reach destination you can have a beautiful alternative accessories set to use.

Washing instructions and care: Wash by hand in cold water. Do not wash or rub silver embroidery. If the silver embroidery ever sticks out of the tulle fabric - use a small roller and flatten the silver into/onto the fabric.

THE CONTENTS OF THE SET – What you receive:

1 Dandasha Drawstring Handbag: Large and Spacious Drawstring bag with easy string fastener. The string has oriental ornaments at its ends. The bag also has Inside Pocket with Zipper. The Silver 'Tulli bi Telli' runs on two sides of the bag. Approximate Dimensions: 50cm handle up length, width at top when wide open 36cm, width at center when wide open 32 cm, bottom platform diameter 19cm.

1 Malak Purse/Wallet: Slim purse with 3 spacious slip pockets that hold much more then what you expect. One outside pocket with Velcro closure. One center pocket with zipper and tassel attached. The last pocket has a strong Velcro closure as well. Approximate Dimensions: length 11.5cm, width 15cm.

1 Amar Make Up Case/Purse: Moon Shaped multi purpose Case. The main closure has a zipper that can be closed from right to left or from left t right. The inside also has three side compartments. Approximate Dimensions: height 13cm, width at bottom 18cm, gusset 5cm.

ABOUT THE FABRICS:

The Set is Handmade with two different high quality Egyptian Cotton Fabrics.

Asyut 'Tulli bi Telli' Cotton Fabric: The fabric on which the Silver metal embroidery is applied is an Egyptian Cotton fabric known as 'Tulli'; a net like, hexagonal mesh fabric. The 'Telli' of 'Tulli bi Telli' refers to the silver embroidery.

How is 'Tulli bi Telli' made? By hand the thin silver strips are threaded into the mesh, crossed over, flattened crisply with the fingernails, cut, then flattened into a sort of packet stamped into and onto the fabric. The handwork results in geometric and figural motifs. When finished, a huge roller is passed over the tulle to flatten the silver down even more.

Where is 'Tulli bi Telli' made? 'Tulli bi Telli' is made In the Asyut Region of Upper Egypt. The Silver motifs are traditional symbols of the people of Asyut (also spelled Assuit, Assuite, Assyut or Asyute).

Moire Soft Egyptian Cotton Fabric: The main material is 100% Egyptian Moire Cotton; a mix of Egyptian Cotton and Satin. The soft fabric is hand woven in Egypt using a traditional weaving method and a basic old fashioned wooden weaving board. The Moire Fabric has a very unique shiny 'wood like' texture. This texture is created through a particular hand print process. The hand print process results in a unique and natural 'wood bark like' wavy pattern embedded into the material.
