FaridasPassions.com (FP) aims to supply you with a range of exquisite, colourful and exciting products that can not be found in your local shops or malls. We bring to you quality handmade products from the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America.

FP is a small family owned business managed by Farida and her son Ahmed B. Fabrics, materials or ready products are hand picked and inspected by us. The goods are designed and produced by us or made by established and upcoming Designers (small brands). We are all passionate about our work and wish to share that passion with you.

We also collaborate with Designers to create unique handmade products and we all do our best to abide to fair trade principles. Many of our goods are produced in collaboration with Egyptian Bedouins and Village women (from the Siwa Oasis, El Arish and other locations). Along with some of our designers we travel to remote locations aiming to improve the women's economic conditions by training them to create beautiful quality products that embody the essence of their culture; and then offering these products to you. You must know that it takes patience and a long time to produce such handmade products especially due to the conditions these women have to work in. It is by selling goods created with them that we do what we can to improve their working conditions, life style and prevent their traditional handicraftship from becoming extinct.

History: We have been around for a while. To see how we grew and changed use the Way Back Machine. The website started off selling only handmade belly dancing merchandise but slowly different products and product categories have been added. Some products have been added as a consequence of our customer's requests. Keep checking for new products.

As the website grew and new products were added the look went through major changes. We aimed and still aim to supply you with smart and friendly ways to browse the website and simplify your shopping experience.
